How to Really Spoil Mum this Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is fast approaching and you may be wondering how to really spoil mum; she deserves it after all.
Here are a few ideas on how to turn those gifts into an experience.
For a relaxing start to her day:
What better way to start the day than breakfast in bed? Mums are always rushing around in the morning trying to get everyone ready, so give her the morning off.
Put together a breakfast tray and present it to her before she gets up. Go continental with croissants, fresh fruit such as strawberries and raspberries and jams. To complement her breakfast and show you really care, add a bottle of our Italian Sparkling Rosé, which will go perfectly with those berries.
If you think she may prefer something a bit heartier, whip up a cooked breakfast serving eggs, bacon and sausage on a breakfast muffin. To complete this look, add a glass of Prosecco, with its fruity and fresh after taste, it will wash this breakfast down perfectly.
“What about a morning of pampering?”
You can easily recreate a spa experience at home. Draw mum a relaxing bath (daytime baths always feel very indulgent), add her favourite bath scents and play some relaxing music. Offer to paint her nails and gift her a face mask for a full pamper.
Hand mum a glass of Cava and she will soon be floating away on the bubbles.
A home cooked meal:
The last thing mum wants to be doing on Mother’s Day, is cooking everyone a big meal. So grab the chef’s hat and cook up a storm in the kitchen.
Set the table, using one of our bottles from the Italian range as a centre piece. These bottles have beautifully cut glass so will make the occasion feel extra special.
If serving red meat, we recommend pairing the meal with a bottle of Chianti D.O.C.G or if seafood is on the menu, opt for our bottle of Pinot Grigio, Garda D.O.C.
Mum will be tickled pink with a bottle of our Italian Rosé, which you could hand as a gift along with a copy of her favourite film or book, for her to grab the opportunity to relax another night.
Hopefully this has now given you some inspiration on how to really spoil mum this Mother’s Day, so there is no excuse to get it wrong this year!
