Medium to full ruby red in colour, with aromas of plums and morello cherries with a hint of raisin. Slight touches of green and black pepper and smokey notes. On the palate it has good acidity and a subtle and pleasant ripe fruity flavor.

Game meats, such as partridge, turkey or venison. Butifarra de Perol with mushrooms, grilled vegetables, or aubergine lasagna. Classic dishes such as chicken in plum sauce, pithivier or beef Wellington. Also pairs well with a freshly made steak tartare, and for desserts, brownie with a strawberry sauce is a good option.
