Success of Freixenet at Premis Vinari 2024
From Freixenet we are proud to announce that we have added new medals in the prestigious Premis Vinari, the event with the most impact in the Catalan wine world in its 12th edition. The gala was held on October 4 and was presented by the magician Mag Lari at the Teatre Casal in Vilafranca del Penedès, Barcelona.
The emblematic Cavas Freixenet, with a century of history in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, have received important awards in the contest. Elyssia Pinot Noir and Freixenet Reserva Real have won the Gold Vinari award in the categories of Young Rosé Sparkling Wines and Gran Reserva White Sparkling Wines, respectively. In addition, Elyssia Brut has won the Silver Vinari award in the Young White Sparkling Wines category.
For more than a decade, the Premis Vinari have distinguished the good work and progress of Catalan wineries in the field of wines and sparkling wines, becoming the main competition in the sector at a Catalan level. With the help of a hundred professionals who, as members of the jury, blindly taste and evaluate nearly a thousand different references, more than 250 medals are awarded in a gala broadcast live on television through Channel 33. The objectives of the Premis Vinari are multiple, but they converge when it comes to connecting the seas of vineyards that dot the entire Catalan territory with society and consumers who will appreciate and value them.
